【教練樂隊簡介】

教練樂隊自成軍以來，以搖擺動感的摩登放克（Funk）融合嘻哈流行；加上狂放爆發的舞台肢體，在眾多樂團中異軍突起，他們的音樂風格旗幟鮮明、自成一格。初出道時即以新團之姿勇奪MTV台尋找百萬樂團冠軍大獎（因此有百萬大樂隊之稱號），擁有300多場LIVE演出經歷，累積眾多的鐵血粉絲，音樂創作與舞台演出在樂團界獲得頗高的評價。

和許多樂團的朋友一樣，教練樂隊在追求音樂成名的路上跌跌撞撞，2004年贏得樂團百萬大獎之後，教練樂隊便遭遇團員分合、與唱片公司簽約，錄音未完成即解約的種種狀況，但這些挫折並未使教練樂隊消失，他們依然堅持組團，做獨立音樂的初衷未曾改變。

教練樂隊的音樂中常可以聽到他們誠實面對生活的抒發及對這世界的看法，夢想的追求，美好的期待！他們不只是為玩團而組BAND，不為討好而歌唱，不跟隨通俗流行，卻自有一股街頭率性狂放搖滾熱血之氣。音樂是他們心中與人生的出口，組團是他們的理想、態度和堅持！

Since Coach has become a band, they have focused on modern funk with danceable melodies, indie rock sensibilities, and their own unmistakable style. These are the remarkable reasons that make Coach stand head and shoulders above every other underground band. As million dollar winners of MTV’s 2004 Battle of the Bands, Coach became known as The Million Dollar Band, and they have preformed over 300 live shows to a very loyal fan base that loves their original songs. This has given Coach a great reputation in Taiwan’s music scene.
Like most bands, Coach didn’t have an easy time to get where they are at today. After winning the 2004 Battle of the Bands, Coach broke up, signed the contract with the record company, but had to break the contract before finishing the recording of their first album. But these failures didn’t make them quit and disappear. They still insist on doing the music and live shows the way they wanted to do it from the beginning without compromising. 

Coach’s music is honest, true to life, opinionated about the current events happening in the world and positive for the future. Coach is not playing and performing just to be cool on the stage or trying to be fashionable. Instead, they are enthusiastic about giving a real rock show to fans that appreciate good music. Music is the way that Coach shows their souls and expresses their feelings about life. Being in Coach is a the culmination of all their dreams and desires because all of the members have a never-give-up attitude.

Coach is comprised of four members from all different corners of Taiwan. By using a jump up sound in their live shows, Coach reaches the fans and stirs a passion for rock that is inside of everyone. While many people are jumping around with Coach during a set, they also sing rock ballads that aren’t only about romance but can touch your heart. In 2009, they joined Purple Music, and with music director Luan Tan Ascent’s help, Coach gathered all their energy and focused it on recording a totally original album, Beautiful Day. One the album, you can hear how Coach has matured over the years. This album is best experienced live where the fans and the band can feed off of each other’s energy. 主唱‧詞曲創作‧木吉他: 小瑋 Vocals‧Acoustic Guitar‧Songwriting: Jelly

來自花蓮玉里，麵包師傅的兒子。從小就是個好動的小孩，才華洋溢、音樂無師自通，包辦教練樂隊的詞曲創作。有責任感也有處女座的龜毛，是團裡的靈魂人物，也是引領教練方向的堅持者。 

感謝大家一直以來對教練的支持，我曾經幾度想要放棄我的追求，但我還是做了。 

這張專輯我相信絕對不會讓大家失望，是一張很誠懇的作品，很高興我終於能夠將它完成! 

爸媽跟婉玲姐對你們，我只有抱著感恩的心，還有乱彈阿翔老師、昇哥、林正如老師、心湄姐、馬念先、家駒哥、小李哥、靜德哥、龍男及海洋熱紀錄片工作團隊，感謝你們對教練的教導，當然還有很多一路上遭遇到的朋友們。 最後也要感謝我的團員亮、十號、大單以及支持教練的每一位歌迷朋友；還有教練的舊團員（哞、芳成、阿達、雷堡），你們是讓我堅持夢想的原動力，謝謝你們!

Life is too short! 人生短暫，及時追求!  

Jelly is from Yuli in Hualian County and is the son of a baker.  He has been very active and energetic since childhood.  He is full of artistic talent, and is a self-taught musician.  He handles all the songwriting duties for the band.  He has a strong sense of responsibility and is a bit obsessive.  He is the soul of the band and is chiefly responsible for determining its direction.

 “I want to thank everybody for their constant support for Coach.  Several times I wanted to give up, but I still went on.  I am certain this album will not disappoint you all; it’s a very sincere piece of work.  I am very happy we’ve finally been able to finish it!  To you, Father, Mother, and Vienna, I feel very thankful. Luantan-Ascent , Bobby Chen, Lin Jhengru, Sinmei, Ma Nien-Hsien, Jiajun, Siao Li, Jingde, Longnan and the makers of the documentary Ocean Fever, thank you all for the guidance you’ve given to Coach, and of course also thank you to all the people we’ve encountered on the way.  Lastly, I want to thank my band mates Guiss, Ten, and Chun-Han, and all of Coach’s fans, and the past members of the band (Muo, Fangcheng, A-Da, and Label), you are the ones who gave me the strength to keep pursuing my dream.  Thank you all!  Life is too short; pursue your dreams now!”

鼓手: 十號 Drums: Ten

水瓶座，台北市土生土長，從小品學兼優的台灣大學高材生。舞台爆發力十足但私下溫和、處事圓融，是團裡的諮商協調師，深度近視的萬事通。偷偷將樂團故事編進小學教材的兼職編輯。曾獲樂團徵選大賽最佳鼓手冠軍。

感謝我的父母，從最初的不諒解到現在的默默支持：感謝曾經跟教練一起奮鬥的夥伴們，阿正、眸、芳成、小雍、阿達、鳥仔、雷堡，不論何時，我都能憶起那段有說有笑的日子，祝福大家能在自己的天空繼續飛翔。我是幸福的，有太多太多人曾經鼓勵我、提醒我、照顧我，僅將這張專輯獻給所有陪我們一起成長的人，以及正看著這段文字的你。

Ten was born and raised in Taipei.  Excellent at schoolwork since his childhood, he was an accomplished student at National Taiwan University.  Full of explosive power on stage, in private he is moderate and tactful, and often acts as a mediator within the band.  Severely nearsighted and multitalented, in his part-time job as an editor, he quietly slipped parts of the band’s story into the elementary school textbook he worked on.  He has won an award for Best Drummer in a major band competition.

“I want to thank my father and mother, who despite an initial lack of understanding now give me their quiet support.  I also want to thank all of Coach’s past comrades and friends: A-Jheng, Mou, Fangcheng, Siao Yong, A-Da, Niaozai, and Label.  I’ll always remember all those days we talked and laughed together, and I hope everyone can keep soaring in their own skies.  I’m very lucky; many, many people have encouraged me, reminded me of things I needed to know, and taken care of me.  I dedicated this album to everyone who was at our side as we grew, and you, the person who is reading this now.”

吉他手: 亮 Guitar: Guiss

教練樂隊的創始團員之一。雙魚座，渾身散發著來自宜蘭的陽光與海潮味，大學主修日文；研究所讀室內設計的亮，曾因當兵離團，在經歷過滷味店老闆、室內設計監工後，仍選擇以教練吉他手和四季不間斷的衝浪來豐富人生。樂天開朗的性格下，他成熟細膩的思維完全流瀉於指尖音符中。

對一件事情的熱愛是很難用言語形容的，也許你熱愛著但自己並不清楚。每一段經歷的體會和每一個過程的感受都是追求夢想最大的源動力；在我離開教練的時間裡，我開始體會生活而從中感動，更重要的是，清楚了解自己熱愛的是音樂。我將這些過程的一切放進了專輯中，希望大家都能有所感動，並勇敢去追求自己的夢。

One of the original members of Coach, Guiss is covered with the smells of the sun and sea in Ilan.  In university he majored in Japanese and in graduate school he studied interior design.  He left the band to do his military service and after running a marinade shop and working as an interior design supervisor, he decided to enjoy a rich life playing guitar for Coach and surfing year round.  Cheerful and easy-going, his maturity and meticulous attention to detail is entirely expressed through the notes flowing out through his fingertips.

“A passion for something is very hard to express in words; maybe you feel passion without really being clear about it yourself.  Every experience you go through and every event that makes an impression on you is an important motivation for chasing your dreams.  During the time after I left Coach, I started to experience life and was moved by my experiences.  Most importantly, I realized that what I really cared about was music.  I put all I got from these experiences into this album.  I hope everyone will be moved by it, and will have the courage to pursue their dreams.” 

貝斯手: 大單 Bass: Hung Chun-Han

牡羊座，來自台東關山。夢想過成為探險家、動物學家、畫家，小時候曾經每堂課都在偷畫畫，也手抄過整冊動物圖鑑。進入師範大學準備回歸正常社會時，bass的低音卻又再一次喚起搖滾的夢想。曾被視為叛逆小子，現在則將所有的專注及想像都投注在音樂中。

“搖擺你的屁股，跟著教練！”，是我跟這些夥伴的初見面，太陽般的狂熱，無法冷卻下來，當時的夢幻閃亮，如同旋風呼嘯而過。然而這是個歷盡波折的樂團，跨過都市，穿過叢林，像乘著小船漂流，面對忽明忽暗的前方，也曾不只一次不知道下一步要去哪裡。白天黑夜，六年了，在這無助的沙漠，他不斷地掙扎、長大。只希望，用一點最簡單的節奏，把你內心深處打開。在難過的時候，總有開心的理由。這是一直以來簡單的想法，也是我們不斷追求的初衷，或許經歷了太久的期待，太多的猶豫，但對於教練和教練的朋友們，這是一段最美好的旅程。

Hung Chun-Han is from Guanshan in Taidong County.  As a child he dreamed of becoming an explorer, an animal expert, or a painter; in his classes he was always secretly drawing, and he copied a complete chart of the types of animals by hand.  After he entered Taiwan National Normal University to prepare for life in the real world, the sounds of the bass awakened his dreams of playing rock music.  Once considered a rebel, he now devotes all his energy and imagination to music.

“‘Shake your ass, follow Coach!’  When I first met these guys, we were hot like the sun, unable to cool off.  Our dreams were brilliant; it was like riding a tornado.  But this is a band that’s been through many twists and turns, we’ve crossed the city and passed through the jungle, we’ve been like a boat floating along, with our heading sometimes clear and sometimes covered in darkness.  More than once we haven’t known where we should go next.  Day and night, six years, through this desert we struggled and grew.  I just hope that with a simple little rhythm we can open up your heart.  Even in sad times there’s always a reason to be happy.  This simple idea is one we’ve always held to and has been what we’ve pursued and aspired to.  Maybe it’s been a long wait with too much hesitation, but for Coach and all of our friends, it’s been a beautiful journey.”
